Graffiti man Askew One covers Aucklands old tanks

I was walking around the the Wynyard section of downtown Auckland today when a curious sight caught my eye.  Right now the wharf were a series of old silo tanks, some of which had been painted with this rally cool graffiti type of art.  As I got close I saw that a man was working on the painting. I went and talked to him and it turned to be Elliott O'Donnell, graffiti artist better known as Askew One.  As it turns out, these tanks were a bit of an eyesore in the harbor and are scheduled for removal, uhhhh, 8 years from now. So, in the meantime, the city decided to use it a piece of art. They got a bank to underwrite it and commissioned Elliott to do it.  The text is a fractured poem by Andrew McAuliffe and it is spread over 8 different tanks.  It took Elliott and 4 accomplices 3 months to complete.
